Growing up, my mom would get Christmas music out pretty early. I am thinking late Sept. early Oct. sometime and I loved it. It made the Christmas season last so much longer. I got my Christmas music out early this year, too, but the season came and went so fast. We had a wonderful Christmas though and the kids were so happy with what they got. We don't like to focus a lot on gifts at Christmas time. They got a few things, but we really spent a lot of time each day talking about the birth of our Savior. The boys are getting old enough now that we can have some good conversations and feel the spirit while we are talking. It amazes me how quickly they grasp concepts and are able to gain a testimony at such a young age. <br /> Christmas morning Kevin got of work at 6:30 and came home to wake us up. I was awake and couldn't wait for him to get home. They ran out and were super excited to see that Santa really had come. After we got done opening presents, Kevin went and slept for a bit while I got the kids dressed and packed so we could go to Sheridan. We went to my grandma's and spent the rest of the day visiting with family. Then we went down to my parent's home and had fun opening presents there. All the cousins had a wonderful time sharing toys and playing. It was a really fun weekend. We also had the <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_0" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">privilege</span> of being able to be their for the blessing of my brother and his wife's brand new baby boy, Quinton Weston <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_1" class="blsp-spelling-error">Bangerter</span>. He is so sweet and welcomed into his family by two big sisters. Congratulations to them!<br /> We rang in the new year with my family all coming to Billings. It was a super fun weekend filled with lots of laughing and spending time together. The cousins enjoyed playing while the grown-up enjoyed visiting and playing some games together as well. I am so blessed and love it when I have a house full of people I love. <br /> We look forward to a wonderful year in 2010. We have set some goals personally and as a family and have every hope of achieving them. The Call Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10197469767712303052noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-109134229787155184.post-17568318963774262352010-01-04T20:42:00.001-08:002010-01-04T20:47:44.162-08:00Eli's Holiday Program for Tiny Tunes and schoolWe have a lady in our ward that teaches music classes. She invited Eli to be a part of the group called Tiny Tunes. It was not his favorite thing in the world, but it sure was cute getting to watch him be a part of it. He was able to have three performances and each one got better and better. He doesn't want to do it again this spring, but Owen really wants to be in it and I think it would be great to have them do it together. So we will see. <br /> Eli also had his holiday program for school. He did a great job with it and looked so handsome in his tux. It is so fun to have him be in school and get to watch him be in different things. I made some <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_0" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">Santa</span> cupcakes for him to take to school on the last day before break. The kids loved them and Eli loved taking a treat to share with his class. He was super excited for the 2 week break to begin, and so was I!The Call Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10197469767712303052noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-109134229787155184.post-91886581768564554862010-01-04T20:37:00.000-08:002010-01-04T20:42:20.801-08:00Isabelle is ONE!!I should have posted this before Thanksgiving, but that is ok. <br /> Isabelle turned one on November 11. All day on her birthday I kept reflecting on the last year and how much a baby changes is 365 days. She is taking a few steps on her own, definitely crawling everywhere, eating just about anything she wants and can put in her mouth before I catch her, laughing at her brothers, wanting to be in the middle of everything they are doing, and "helping" mommy in anyway she can, espically unloading the dishwasher and carying off the silverware to unknown places. She is super busy but super snuggly. She laughs and plays and is super smart. I am so blessed to have her as my daughter. Happy birthday, Isabelle! The Call Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10197469767712303052noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-109134229787155184.post-70922256992139929052010-01-04T20:26:00.001-08:002010-01-04T20:37:12.459-08:00ThanksgivingIt has been a few months since the last posting. Time goes so fast anymore. We had a wonderful opportunity to go to Utah for Thanksgiving. Kevin saved all his vacation so we could spend 9 days with his family. My sister and her family also live close by so we were able to spend some time with them as well. It was a very eventful week and we were able to have some late nights playing games and visiting. Thanksgiving day was spent with family and eating (lots!) of yummy food. We ended the day with the boys writing their Christmas wish list to Santa Clause. We assured them that Ernie (our families personal elf) would know we were at Grandma's and Grandpa's house and would get their letter to Santa. He was kind enough to get their letters and leave them a little gift. All three of them got their new <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_0" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">ornament</span> for the tree and Eli and Owen got new ear phones for the <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_1" class="blsp-spelling-error">ipod</span> and <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_2" class="blsp-spelling-error">zune</span>. They were pretty excited. Of course the next morning we had to venture out and do some early morning shopping. We didn't buy a lot, we both just enjoy being out in the crowds. Kevin's parents were very kind and volunteered to keep the kids for us. That made things a lot easier and enjoyable. We finished the week off just being with family and then headed home on Sunday. Vacations are fun, but it is always nice to be home and back on schedule. The Call Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10197469767712303052noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-109134229787155184.post-56121353065244922252009-11-03T21:38:00.000-08:002009-11-03T21:58:53.535-08:00Halloween 2009We had a wonderful Halloween this year. There is something magical when you look at your kids and witness such happiness going door to door. Almost every door, Mandy and I looked at each other and laughed as our kids were so excited. This year we all dressed up. We have never done this in the past, but we felt like it would be fun to do so. We also got invited to a Halloween party at our friends The Carrolls. Mandy went as a nurse. I went as Fred Flintstone. Eli as a Astronaut, Owen as a Monkey, and Isabelle as a Kitty Cat. We had a fun time at this party. We had dinner, raced goldfishes (yes, real goldfish) and played with the kids. After, we all went Trick-or-Treating in which the kids got enough candy to last them till next year.<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgm30yVkAA3BdGxZ_pASPPCrei6IQ6bAbHLcQeUmAZk70jed0EFm6C_mT6JPSCc4y5dRKM4RC7e8uh-SKDL5b-on8XbNS8oH3dWGJQ1sLCIMW0JTyAA9vVrCRjVf76PWDfdqsXcGDLqwaM/s1600-h/100_1759.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5400120340472823714" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgm30yVkAA3BdGxZ_pASPPCrei6IQ6bAbHLcQeUmAZk70jed0EFm6C_mT6JPSCc4y5dRKM4RC7e8uh-SKDL5b-on8XbNS8oH3dWGJQ1sLCIMW0JTyAA9vVrCRjVf76PWDfdqsXcGDLqwaM/s320/100_1759.JPG" /></a> I almost forgot to note that Mandy made my entire costume. She did a wonderful job. I couldn't ask for a better friend. The costume was made so well, that it won first place in the costume contest this year. We wanted to be an Army guy, until we found him this Astronaut Suit. To be completely honest, I'm not even sure if it is an Astronaut suit. We found it at MRM. We told him it was and he was overjoyed. He wore this costume for the remainder of the month, everyday. He has such an imagination. He found masks, ski googles, winter hats, and gloves to use as his equipment. <br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><div></div></div></div></div></div>The Call Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10197469767712303052noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-109134229787155184.post-78219220365572617682009-09-06T13:53:00.000-07:002009-09-06T14:26:08.278-07:00Fourth of July CelebrationSo the blog thing works sometimes, and other times just doesn't work at all. Just about everyday I check my brother's blog. I am excited when he posts because I don't get to see him or his family very much. He has some of the cutest kids (next to mine of course). We have had a busy summer. This park that we are at was at the start of our summer. We went for the Fourth of July celebration. Every year a church in our city puts on this celebration for the city. They bring in a ton of vendors, playground equipment, games, rides, and one of the biggest firework shows in the state. The best part of it, is that it is all free.<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLx0pVutnReanMMmaQ6AWLLikconNGLvfUVrMyCvkLZYqvWVr0huJBzlWnPgcPeF6L_gIMWrJCAR8jFC-dtq7xkCWzjnwVoNdAaO4UofIhnsPnW8laBwUDp5oK2Uyx3K2L5aEFcc1obRc/s1600-h/100_1421.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5378464198649761874" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLx0pVutnReanMMmaQ6AWLLikconNGLvfUVrMyCvkLZYqvWVr0huJBzlWnPgcPeF6L_gIMWrJCAR8jFC-dtq7xkCWzjnwVoNdAaO4UofIhnsPnW8laBwUDp5oK2Uyx3K2L5aEFcc1obRc/s320/100_1421.JPG" border="0" /></a> Unfortunately, towards the end of the night it started to rain. I kind of felt like Noah and the Ark because it was coming down like cats and dogs. The worst of it was that it was starting to lightning. BIG OPEN FIELD + LIGHTNING = DISASTER. We ducked underneath this pavillion with no walls, got down under a picnic table, and covered up with a blanket. We were still getting drenched. We could see the lightning stiking all around us. It was very scary.<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgka-4KHe9ifLvrhe-2b_MA4lPM35ii1RDb14sXPfUDZDJ7-18aH7NTGxqjOQw5Qz-gIpu4tL7ud9b532-ikqQtiA8Rciff3b6g06jpDAoUFEY0qQ-YEaBOOQfAYRBQy_NG2BWtIYjsULA/s1600-h/100_1414.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5378464189342673426" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgka-4KHe9ifLvrhe-2b_MA4lPM35ii1RDb14sXPfUDZDJ7-18aH7NTGxqjOQw5Qz-gIpu4tL7ud9b532-ikqQtiA8Rciff3b6g06jpDAoUFEY0qQ-YEaBOOQfAYRBQy_NG2BWtIYjsULA/s320/100_1414.JPG" border="0" /></a>I think by far, Owen can making the quirkiest faces. His teacher, Miss Robin was the most kind and loving teacher Eli could ever have. Eli has a great passion for learning. At the end of the year, he is already telling time, reading stories, and writing letters and numbers. We are so very proud of him.<br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3iavmnMjhdQtOwGFXtC_sdve6D3Yfw4KM5X5EQEkkGGXVfMlGkL50lraq1zlkIu4pUUck-aPMlOkH0-sdRAVbXUePPffZ_Q6QLEZ4c_VvfUH-PTNcyLatDSabEMzwwERTWhVFZn2zmNI/s1600-h/100_1319.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5355003085154058594" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3iavmnMjhdQtOwGFXtC_sdve6D3Yfw4KM5X5EQEkkGGXVfMlGkL50lraq1zlkIu4pUUck-aPMlOkH0-sdRAVbXUePPffZ_Q6QLEZ4c_VvfUH-PTNcyLatDSabEMzwwERTWhVFZn2zmNI/s320/100_1319.JPG" border="0" /></a> This is a picture of Eli and one of his best friends from school and church. Her name is Emma. They are the same age. One day, Emma told her mom that she didn't like going to preschool if Eli wasn't going to be there. Around that same time, Eli wanted to start wearing his glasses. After much questioning we finally got it out of him that Emma got glasses. He wanted to be just like her.<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5355003089519622642" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQnykgoVs0r69DrlcWCiQ8ohaQy1xFXwBWvhnEYhIoEiFlJ-YTPwVT2yqqv0wYXQEAIb190hyphenhyphenMhHD23x46TFE4K2OYCDO5dwv27UhA8aXjk41JAHyIXw4G8-ww8SI7himj7kWI0rC48OU/s320/100_1324.JPG" border="0" /><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3qPptoIFeunPSaCORx5aWBPO0IWx8Hl3naRR0K8xRBRNMvMb7QMyWfi251iND-syWH1IJYWQ-RZl8n320k0-sorw1khTUbcTg2YkweiCEacIVDpunOsU7k8LgwOvrhw99jzOA85c-u-I/s1600-h/100_1320.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5355003081548747810" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3qPptoIFeunPSaCORx5aWBPO0IWx8Hl3naRR0K8xRBRNMvMb7QMyWfi251iND-syWH1IJYWQ-RZl8n320k0-sorw1khTUbcTg2YkweiCEacIVDpunOsU7k8LgwOvrhw99jzOA85c-u-I/s320/100_1320.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQNIA87obi-f-VXfQ_nO4Fc4JPKdxNcLArHvLsQNusxvulrn7jReqEM-0Jg_GOxw469rXRJEFeDqysp5IuLMm8Ee2zpnhVFIppVYAwmdVhnMj4N9XMw4xSXPiovZdWboNPcWkSzrt6ZGA/s1600-h/100_1311.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5355003075193282754" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQNIA87obi-f-VXfQ_nO4Fc4JPKdxNcLArHvLsQNusxvulrn7jReqEM-0Jg_GOxw469rXRJEFeDqysp5IuLMm8Ee2zpnhVFIppVYAwmdVhnMj4N9XMw4xSXPiovZdWboNPcWkSzrt6ZGA/s320/100_1311.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><div></div></div></div></div>The Call Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10197469767712303052noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-109134229787155184.post-64625871850922830022009-07-05T06:00:00.000-07:002009-07-05T06:30:49.699-07:00Father and Son Hike - East Rosebud Waterfall<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbcmqnwa339zHUqsEGN_0F7uWSHpuPOgBlkzo9PcUgo2Ohr49HYy41nFaWky7q-fgjSQH7B_Q_RrbjZiNK_Ddy-AsGtPn3oM1yy_7WdUrBrBN2hR_Pd76FVz0MpWu1T_idcBpQNk70oac/s1600-h/100_1286.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5354967945122361410" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbcmqnwa339zHUqsEGN_0F7uWSHpuPOgBlkzo9PcUgo2Ohr49HYy41nFaWky7q-fgjSQH7B_Q_RrbjZiNK_Ddy-AsGtPn3oM1yy_7WdUrBrBN2hR_Pd76FVz0MpWu1T_idcBpQNk70oac/s320/100_1286.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div>We had a lot of fun at our Father and Sons campout. This year we went toEast Rosebud Resevoir. We made it early in evening, setup camp, ate dinner, and had a riot cooking marshmellows and playing in the dark. We went to sleep and froze the entire night, although, once the sun came up, we warmed right up. We went on this really cool hike. Eli and Owen did really well. IFly is an indoor skydiving simulator. Uncle Kyle, Emily's husband, works there. For Eli and Owen's birthday, Kyle took them skydiving. This Owen, all suited up, ready to fly!<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmn4S7tuDm5MprFgW_n6b2w1TPKLzcE4h-tG6zHR2LSuoT8UmEOYYiwpHZoyguLO8WeHak3V6sZnKGipKH1wlih4A9ZBgfI-gS_YQ2J0moSTyLLPeUbwbmJDS0lYqBpB8BZGU7owDOwB8/s1600-h/101_1153.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5323896067992669106" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmn4S7tuDm5MprFgW_n6b2w1TPKLzcE4h-tG6zHR2LSuoT8UmEOYYiwpHZoyguLO8WeHak3V6sZnKGipKH1wlih4A9ZBgfI-gS_YQ2J0moSTyLLPeUbwbmJDS0lYqBpB8BZGU7owDOwB8/s320/101_1153.JPG" border="0" /></a> This is Eli flying in the air tube. This was the 3rd time he has flown with Uncle Kyle. He is getting quite good at flying. Uncle Kyle was actually able to let Eli go on his own for 3-4 seconds. We were trying to be professional photographers. My kids were just not cooperating, not to mention Isabelle falling asleep. We could always get one kid to smile and the other to goof around. <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhw_JZz3j7-pAo3spgQAuY6CFmf-muDJBLGtDtGrZSPIVZOndQD-vdgdwyQlSUXapudJEZSHMY7CCz73P7wfXuhyphenhyphenwA29vB3MszUaATE6V8YJ2qzfttb950GdVbGeMgQCBSQ8T8yoXxngiM/s1600-h/100_0829.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5314195250022947234" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhw_JZz3j7-pAo3spgQAuY6CFmf-muDJBLGtDtGrZSPIVZOndQD-vdgdwyQlSUXapudJEZSHMY7CCz73P7wfXuhyphenhyphenwA29vB3MszUaATE6V8YJ2qzfttb950GdVbGeMgQCBSQ8T8yoXxngiM/s320/100_0829.JPG" border="0" /></a> There is a story behind the soccor jersey Eli is wearing in the picture. We had a whole lot of family staying with us. We had so much fun. The blessing was wonderful. This was the 3rd time I got to do this. I love doing it and am grateful that I keep myself worthy for it. <br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimCUwbf9OHEE2FvV5uYc4Eoh0_Sx5yrKQCVu7iN3gjVOMjynb1al4GlwRdMYrhA9-wyrjpmo9uDlzQ6KwcxgQk3xNvKp8iinpg74nk9IClaEDjnA_qTweTKtU8RrUgGFLMsvQj6sGfTNg/s1600-h/100_0795.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5314192341249033586" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimCUwbf9OHEE2FvV5uYc4Eoh0_Sx5yrKQCVu7iN3gjVOMjynb1al4GlwRdMYrhA9-wyrjpmo9uDlzQ6KwcxgQk3xNvKp8iinpg74nk9IClaEDjnA_qTweTKtU8RrUgGFLMsvQj6sGfTNg/s320/100_0795.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmQq00TuWMXV0mb_RvlwomcRlbylqR5yjuAJZHpAlvgGfUyZKJREVnnqJw8dJERmg7VxcSYZFPlROELIipemzgTnyIsfnV1BnvJ6Tb2SFDh7SbtWPSIS2jHI5MJuNnTlLhR5ZHzklInb8/s1600-h/100_0793.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5314192330668332866" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmQq00TuWMXV0mb_RvlwomcRlbylqR5yjuAJZHpAlvgGfUyZKJREVnnqJw8dJERmg7VxcSYZFPlROELIipemzgTnyIsfnV1BnvJ6Tb2SFDh7SbtWPSIS2jHI5MJuNnTlLhR5ZHzklInb8/s320/100_0793.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div></div></div>The Call Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10197469767712303052noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-109134229787155184.post-26124005280490014452009-03-17T08:59:00.000-07:002009-03-17T09:12:54.498-07:00Tearin' up the bathroom!!!Ever since we moved into our home, it has been our goal to replace our bathroom. This bathroom was hideously ugly. It had a blue tub, no shower, blue toilet, and a blue sink. One fine day, back in November, we got wild and decided to start by ripping out the bathtub. Our decision was so random to start. However, thus started our wonderful journey on remodeling our bathroom.<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5314187345289176834" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5io-R19mwkC14D_HSin0ZWens8BX2OmfAuat9mLW9c1NTnZoJTHPTHCo6IqQ9tGr5EsfJRGqeMNIASZ8mrQh35wTNtLjNIcedK_3MjSY7wmFuP1s6p3OhgdtmzXxHVAEySgzTpa2yQgo/s320/100_0785.JPG" border="0" /><br />I had a friend over who was more than happy to sledgehammer into my walls. It took a lot of hard work, but eventually we heaved the 650lb cast iron tub out of the walls and into the back of the pickup. <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhfWaOwVLwSN3SoNrpdBa2kd97o04utp2-SW-uDmV-d7OrOboklVNbqfmzeomobXvvCpSnbkKeo9ghcNHYXo8DSGiqm2VwgSclpMOSEnypOvVl3q8SDTjy3lhHLqBrXKynjjr2jpRPHJRw/s1600-h/100_0788.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5314187371453457122" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhfWaOwVLwSN3SoNrpdBa2kd97o04utp2-SW-uDmV-d7OrOboklVNbqfmzeomobXvvCpSnbkKeo9ghcNHYXo8DSGiqm2VwgSclpMOSEnypOvVl3q8SDTjy3lhHLqBrXKynjjr2jpRPHJRw/s320/100_0788.JPG" border="0" /></a> We are now just about finished with the project (23 trips to Ace Hardware and 56 trips to Home Depot). The project has had a lot of bumps and bruises...ie: tearing out the wall to the left to fit the tub surround in; getting the tub and surround cemented and sealed in, only to rip it out due to a plumbing error, leaking pipes resulting in tearing it out a 3rd time, sticky bolts resulting in sawzall through the toilet. All in all, if I had to do it again, I would hire a plumber, but I will appreciate this bathroom more than any room in the house when it is finished. We are in the process of painting and doing the floor. I will post more pictures when we finish.<br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiY0MElIy5273hI37rwj3rjFg908-DeXESpErmgqk_ZJRq07jTOrk9w9nfMykhf-VCrMGRGYl8GNyz93du1ESYty3O2Zon28Pw0GdNNvYzv3YJnVmbEkgT0MDeOuhAHzni0zm16SYr0JqA/s1600-h/100_0787.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5314187358074448594" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiY0MElIy5273hI37rwj3rjFg908-DeXESpErmgqk_ZJRq07jTOrk9w9nfMykhf-VCrMGRGYl8GNyz93du1ESYty3O2Zon28Pw0GdNNvYzv3YJnVmbEkgT0MDeOuhAHzni0zm16SYr0JqA/s320/100_0787.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLTSaHF6GRTPyn44kQqrEtQniTT6-o_5OppivyTY1Tq17nI30Bw8a4UJ4qiQqrN2sVX6hotQg16hq6C7UgxxYD_em-hmeA2-DANyrWWL8BichW-Pj61ReZ1iLl7apbSn3Lx5KcEeVK_yo/s1600-h/100_0786.JPG"></a><br /><br /><br /><div><br /><br /><br /><br /><div></div></div></div></div>The Call Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10197469767712303052noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-109134229787155184.post-59975414836332167492009-03-17T08:37:00.000-07:002009-03-17T08:52:08.114-07:00Putting up the Christmas TreeI know that this is kind of weird, but I found my SD Card from our camera and I wanted to get back into this blog thing. One of the reasons I started this blog was to keep it as a journal. So I will post several things, with the last one being the most current. This was Christmas 2008. Our kids had a lot of fun setting up the tree. Eli wanted to do almost the whole project. I have misplaced my SD Card for our digital camera. This causes a huge problem because all of our hospital pictures of Isabelle our on that card. I feel really sickened by the whole thing. Therefore, I haven't posted for quite awhile. I new this would happened when I set this blog up. <br />We have gone through a lot since my last post. We have been in the middle of a huge remodeling project with our guest bathroom. Luckily we have another bathroom in the house. We had an old tub with no shower when we bought the house. So the old tub came out and we put in a new tub and shower to replace it. When we brought the shower surround in through the door of the bathroom, it wouldn't turn the right way for us to get it into the space. Therefore, we had to knock down the wall in the hallway to get the shower fitted into place. I put the shower surround in, siliconed the edges, and sealed into place.......only to find out that I did some of the plumbing wrong. So, take the whole thing apart, fix the plumbing, and seal the tub/shower again. What would have taken 5 hours for a plumber has now taken me 6 weekends. Not to mention that now I have a hallway wall to frame, drywall, and paint. <br />Isabelle is growing so fast. It is hard to believe that she is almost 2 months old. We had a wonderful Christmas. At the last minute we decided to go down to Sheridan, Wyoming and spend a couple of days with Mandy's family. The kids got their Imaginext toys they wanted. In addition, Santa brought them a horse barn with horses. The loved it. They have not stopped playing with the barn, stable (Mandy's Grandpa built them a stable), and horses. Then, unbeknowest to Mandy, Ernie (our kids' elf) and Santa surprised the boys and Mandy to a Wii. Mandy and I are completely addicted. Mandy thinks she is hotstuff just because she can beat me at bowling. But, I have her in golf and fishing. We are looking forward to buying the Wii fit and Mario Kart games.<br />Mandy, Eli, Owen, Isabelle, and Myself wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I am so lucky to have a beautiful wife, and 3 great, healthy kids. They are truly a joy in my life. They are all growing so fast. Eli is pretty much self sufficient, even to the point where if he is hungry, he can make him is own lunch (his favorite is Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich). Last night, he invited Grandma Pebbles for a sleepover. They spent the night in the living room together. I wouldn't be surprised if he convinced Grandma to play the Wii in the middle of the night.<br />Owen is definetly two. He is a busy kid, into just about anything in comes in contact with. His vocabulary has tripled lately and says the funniest things. This year for Christmas he wanted nothing in the world more than a barn and horses. He can just about make anything into a horse for himself to ride. He is so cute and lovable. He is the kind of kid that can make you so angry, and then seconds later brings a smile to your face with his crazy antics. I can tell already that I have a mini-me on hands with Owen.<br />Until next time and maybe some new pics,<br />KevinThe Call Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10197469767712303052noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-109134229787155184.post-44888811480873275002008-11-19T09:04:00.001-08:002008-11-19T09:14:17.432-08:00<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgqLEaanzvEylBypAwtGzpgcDZaJjldDenl722RYs4ywhaosMks-zOkaziEnu2ODc1VcCaILLJYEtY56nBk8dJF2Z8HPuVxZC2ZWpXV2nH-boR0c0pBngG1JlsooRl5kYYfDXHz0AVSQ54/s1600-h/100_0612.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5270417060501329826" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgqLEaanzvEylBypAwtGzpgcDZaJjldDenl722RYs4ywhaosMks-zOkaziEnu2ODc1VcCaILLJYEtY56nBk8dJF2Z8HPuVxZC2ZWpXV2nH-boR0c0pBngG1JlsooRl5kYYfDXHz0AVSQ54/s320/100_0612.JPG" border="0" /></a> We had the opportunity to go to the corn maze for Eli's preschool. Parents and families were invited, so we took Owen along with us. Unfortunately, this was pre-Isabelle era. The kids had a ton of fun. We went the through the maze, picked out pumpkins, and kids had a blast in the barrel train. <br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiG6_vr8Po7C9nSd3il8wfiQR_mUobJm27NcgmKIuVMky1Ocob1Pu3IwBotwNSDVdKu36c3trj02Z7QUYiH1CHd_BdKgbwvU3CA6SROIqOA8cPxZfwjgkhUvUVmGWNeruGpYGaeN9n7h3Y/s1600-h/100_0618.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5270417054460100018" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiG6_vr8Po7C9nSd3il8wfiQR_mUobJm27NcgmKIuVMky1Ocob1Pu3IwBotwNSDVdKu36c3trj02Z7QUYiH1CHd_BdKgbwvU3CA6SROIqOA8cPxZfwjgkhUvUVmGWNeruGpYGaeN9n7h3Y/s320/100_0618.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhRGEDpd-ncgjhri7cKqVmNm51FP2HoZHqjpeV1_BNgboTGTppB8aC9gZqq9klQAV-KSG6s62ixGaHLNojdQ2BjoyubxeA5KQrS2U_bbb0HXdpJsUWi0XuKSJsASskNHOxRYkcGh9HIt0c/s1600-h/100_0602.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5270417053037226082" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhRGEDpd-ncgjhri7cKqVmNm51FP2HoZHqjpeV1_BNgboTGTppB8aC9gZqq9klQAV-KSG6s62ixGaHLNojdQ2BjoyubxeA5KQrS2U_bbb0HXdpJsUWi0XuKSJsASskNHOxRYkcGh9HIt0c/s320/100_0602.JPG" border="0" /></a> <div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhNypFRXSmLyivlWeppTJtSjY7qIpunQ3m07zqQn5QWLiklh2KRZzCUqhMtLyonq4GA9QfbkvrfgV7KeWLk5tV1cqvxzmNBnMaFIQqLZWs1fuHoZXo4YB2iN0Hlljj7L8_jQMbTLgsNjz8/s1600-h/100_0605.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5270417049664463538" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhNypFRXSmLyivlWeppTJtSjY7qIpunQ3m07zqQn5QWLiklh2KRZzCUqhMtLyonq4GA9QfbkvrfgV7KeWLk5tV1cqvxzmNBnMaFIQqLZWs1fuHoZXo4YB2iN0Hlljj7L8_jQMbTLgsNjz8/s320/100_0605.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrkDv28M5r6BNzZjNs4flDK3TmSYc8DbUaDpSKKpmf3QqB2K7T6ZAOXiEDCxr55zXkghPXITmzXEpUGr0oBpZPU25zXou2kecGmuD6loDT9HyrfLVv-UX-99dGSykvqiGLJxNOKFu8AK8/s1600-h/100_0606.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5270417044055571986" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrkDv28M5r6BNzZjNs4flDK3TmSYc8DbUaDpSKKpmf3QqB2K7T6ZAOXiEDCxr55zXkghPXITmzXEpUGr0oBpZPU25zXou2kecGmuD6loDT9HyrfLVv-UX-99dGSykvqiGLJxNOKFu8AK8/s320/100_0606.JPG" border="0" /></a> Yes, Mandy road in this car with Owen on her lap. He senses the change and he is not happy about it.</div><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><div></div><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><div></div></div></div></div></div>The Call Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10197469767712303052noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-109134229787155184.post-33073153522902765942008-11-12T08:05:00.000-08:002008-11-12T08:46:32.945-08:00Isabelle's Big DayShe's finally here. And my blog is hopefully running smoothly. I think my big brother will be proud of me for figuring this thing out on my own. I haven't really subsribed myself into the newer internet options. But I'm getting there. Isabelle Rene arrived at 9:01am on 11/11/08. She was 8lbs 7oz and 20 inches long. She very healthy and in my opinion, the cutest little girl ever. We had a wonderful day yesterday at the hospital. Everything went perfect and just as planned.<br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5267804765629991842" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBo_HTGOR_8U1MAK2wYkfX9peGzGpCF5e-zihvZhYx4FVeNdYRsKMs8kDSas9ISawgsu_vzS1ANkLV9MOe1b2wKGVEff-wrXZn9kEey6Z0np3VSdcxdmWp35cmigawOLXtmMgwfWxnHVY/s320/100_0649.JPG" border="0" /> This picture is a little fresh, but I think it is so cute.<br /><p></p><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5267805321749295730" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinkIXuv48ddaX2c4cbRezybTLD2sFkSxwiN4C_5VBHqOw7zZs1a4muaA7dlFcA9_9qzBSeNFpzKgCsVUevDGzlrgcoelPWOfd9Y4BpKmIitwjv6Pop8nxMZEQh9wJpLUnQZZyqdcPZ5js/s320/100_0682.JPG" border="0" /></p><p>Here is Owen, singing "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" to his new baby sister. He wanted to make sure the baby was safe, so he refused to go back home after the delivery. So we let him stay and take care of mommy and Isabelle. His favorite part about the hospital is getting Mommy snacks at the "snack station". (and pulling the cord in the bathroom that send 3-4 nurses running to the room!!!)</p><p><br /></p><br /><br /><p></p>The Call Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10197469767712303052noreply@blogger.com6
